Why it is prescribed: It is an antihistaminic drug which has anticholinergic, sedative, anti-5HT evasodilator actions.

When it is to be taken: Adults: Vestibular disorders: 25-75mg TD, Motion Sicleress: 25mg 2 hrs before travel, 15mg every 8 hrs during journey if necessary. Childrens: 5-12 years. Half dose.

How it should be taken: The medication comes in the form of 25 & 75 mgs.

Special Instruction : Special precaution should be taken in the case of hypotension and during therapy, patients should not operate machinery or drive. Avoid alcohol.

Side Effects : Sedation, skinrash, drowsiness and GI tract.

Other Precautions : Safety not established in case of pregnancy. Use with caution in case of lactation & oldage.

Storage Conditions : Store at room temperature.
